This is my first Tapestry crochet Hat of 2015. I am at this moment creating the Infant size hat of this pattern. Sometimes this makes it challenging, because you have to make changes for smaller hats and still have a connection with the pattern. I do test my own patterns, I find mistakes and make corrections, then I have a friend read through them. I make more than one hat to test the pattern. I usually sell or donate hats to different causes, so all my props get a home.
Believe it or not I have another one that I am working one, but it takes time. It takes time because I am kind of reverse engineering a pattern I made some years ago. Sometimes it is easy to figure out what it is that I am doing, and some time it is not. As crazy as that is, I am also creating a Fair Isle hat that I was inspired to create while creating the crochet pattern.
