You spin me round round Baby

Here what you see is some silk roving that has been hand dyed by me with food coloring. It is different than wool the material is very light and needs to soak and sink by itself. You can help it a bit. I am excited as this is my first time dyeing pure silk and then spinning some which I will have pictures some other day. At this time the silk is drying.

Here is just some of the wool roving I like to paint in my favorite colors. I find that this makes a great combination when plied together.
