I am hoping that this blog will help you and me experience the craft of crochet as well as knitting. During times of silence or turmoil, crochet and knitting continuously help me quiet my mind at my own pace, enabling me to find my center. I am also sharing my SECRET persona, Lt. DAX, my life in code while living in Bajor. Maybe fiction maybe not is up to you to decide. Peldor Joi!!!

Noro Socks WIP (20%)
I am working on this project along as I am listening and watching Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitting Workshop. Did you know that it was a PBS Mini Series, Kind of. I will tell you more about it when I am done with the viewing of it. So far I give it an A Plus. I am on part 2 of 3.

Going back to the Noro yarn. I have been reading a lot about the yarn and I have also been retraining myself to knit. I used to knit through the back loop of the stitch and now I am learning to knit in a different way. I am also going to have to re-learn how to purl, learning to purl in a more efficient way as E. Zimmerman will put it. This lady loved her Math!!!. This sock is a fast project, but I am doing three projects at the same time and when I take a break from each project I work on the other for a day or so. This project is very interesting as you are kind of wondering what kind of color will the yarn show you next. So here I am 4 inches away from the heel flap, hopefully by the middle of the week I will have knitted enough to start the heel flap. Thanks for stopping by!

I have the Knitting Workshop DVD as well. Don't you just love Elizabeth. She seems like she would have been a great friend to have and to have shared a meal and a beer with. You can just see the joy of life in her face. I hate that she's not with us anymore.
Love the sock. I'm dying to see how it turns out, and what colors will show up in it. Noro is so fun.
