Well November 2007 went out with a bang, laughter, tears and more laughter. I was saddened by the loss of my pet friend. I want to personally thank all of you , for your compassionate thoughts and empathic notes & feelings. It was felt across the ethers. You always think that you are prepared for death, yet when it comes is a different story. In all honesty I did not believe I would get so emotional, yet I was and I am. Things will eventually even out and the feelings of pain and sadness will be replaced with joy and remembrance. In a lots of way Buster Brown had a great Life, he was rescued from a shelter 15 years ago. I will tell you he had a great Life.
This is my altar of remembrance. His tags, and some empathy postcards, his vet reminders Note, a Black Lab that I am painting Brown to put in our tree. Some times Buster will be looking out of one of the Bedroom windows at some cats that liked to lay on the fence. We called it Kitty TV. He was so intense in his stare! It was very cute. I never thought that I would miss that Buster Brown so much, but he is with me for ever more. Until we meet again, thanks for being a part of our lives.

My postcard arrived today also. Glad you had a great time, even though you couldn't buy much.
It's funny how pets touch our hearts, especially for those of us who don't have children. In some ways they become our children, we transfer our parental instincts to them. And they give us so much unconditional love and companionship and are always so happy to see us, even if we've only been gone 5 minutes. The alter of rememberance is a fantastic idea.
