This is my creation from the Knit Along at the Irish Hiking Scarf Knit Along Blog, The hat and the scarf with the patterns supplied there. I added a half double crochet edge to the scarf and it looks fantastic. Thanks for allowing me in this Knit along. The color is neonerrific!
I also finished blocking this Bamboo hat and it followed the same pattern than the hat above. It did not lose the sheen and softness after being blocked. It retained the shape. Great yarn for making hats knitting on the round. Thanks for stopping by!
I am hoping that this blog will help you and me experience the craft of crochet as well as knitting. During times of silence or turmoil, crochet and knitting continuously help me quiet my mind at my own pace, enabling me to find my center. I am also sharing my SECRET persona, Lt. DAX, my life in code while living in Bajor. Maybe fiction maybe not is up to you to decide. Peldor Joi!!!

Both came out so nicely-I know you do a lot of hiking and have a need for those warm hats in SF now don't cha?
Wether shopping at the Westfield Mall or going up 24th street lol! The Hills of San Francisco will get you sweating. I don't go hiking out in California, too many Mountain Lion Attacks!
I have a feeling this winter is going to be very cold!
Great job on your scarf and hats--I love the green color. I haven't tried any of the bamboo yarn--sounds like I would like it!
