TGIF the Honorable Slytherin House Scarf

I did not realize how quickly I crochet. I can make two of these scarves in one day easily. It is done with the I crochet Hook and I found that it has the perfect width to make a fast crochet advance on this pattern. I am also practicing different techniques of yarn weaving. When you are making a project like this one with color changes and a big hook, sometimes it is not easy weaving the ends. I will be putting my own pattern expression sometime later this weekend. I am making these scarves for a Crochet Depot Harry Potter Scarf Exchange. This is the second scarf from the Honorable House of Slytherin where this scarf will be flown by my own Owl, Canberra. This colors are nice, I wish there was more options for the silver grey. I am making this scarf in Paton's Merino Classic and it is done in Half Double Crochet, 29 HDC across.

Like Salazar Slytherin, its founder, Slytherin house values ambition, cunning, resourcefulness, and pure blood heritage. Most Slytherin students display a high level of Machiavellianism. The book also suggests that the hunger for power is a characteristic of Slytherins. The animal representing Slytherin is the serpent, and the house's colours are green and silver. The Bloody Baron is the house ghost. According to Rowling, Slytherin corresponds roughly to the element of water. The Slytherin dormitories and common room are reached through a bare stone wall in the dungeons. The Slytherin common room is a long, low, dungeon-style room, located under the Hogwarts lake and furnished with green lamps and chairs.

So who makes this wonderful Shea Butter , by Deneen and she sells it as well, go and visit her and order some. It is the perfect companion for Wool and your hands smell great. I wonder if she makes with a hint of Lavender? Go and find out. Thanks for stopping by!

How the hell do you make 2 of those in a day "easily"? I could be good for one scarf, but not likely 2, in one day. I like the colors.

You are on a tear Andy!

Thanks for the shout out-the shea is on hold til the weather gets cooler, stuff melts like crazy. It is perfect for when using wool because wool absorbs all the oils out of your hands and fingertips and this absorbs right in immediately when you use it.
