I am hoping that this blog will help you and me experience the craft of crochet as well as knitting. During times of silence or turmoil, crochet and knitting continuously help me quiet my mind at my own pace, enabling me to find my center. I am also sharing my SECRET persona, Lt. DAX, my life in code while living in Bajor. Maybe fiction maybe not is up to you to decide. Peldor Joi!!!

Sweaters N More Sep 05
I am waiting on some books for crocheting sweaters that I recently bought on Ebay. Meanwhile this is my first crochet sweater. I made it around two months ago. It used to be knitted .
I am finishing my quilted afghan, I am at the hardest part which is tieing loose ends and working them throughout the work. One hour doing that feels like nothing. I try to do it by colors that way it is easier to see progress. I think it will be done sometime next week.
I have ordered some old movies with Bacall and Bogart, "do you know how to whistle?, Just put your lips together and blow", then One with Rita Hayworth and Mildred Pierce Daaaarling. LOL.
Hope everyone's weekend is nice.

The sweater looks fantastic!!
I have never been able to figure out how to whistle. I've also never seen anyone crotchet a sweater before and it looks great! Good job.
I use 100% merino wool (machine washable) for my socks. I get it from www.angoravalley.com because she has it custom spun with this really nice tight twist that holds up very well, and it comes in 8 ounce skeins which are cheaper than all the other brands of similar sock yarn.
the sweater looks wonderful!!
